1. Warm-up, 5 minutes
Draw a circle, a square, a triangle and a star in the air together, naming each one and counting its corners.
2. The game, on the projector
The class names each shape as it drifts by, and a helper sorts it. Ask "How do you know?" for one shape each turn.
Projector mode is the game with ?projector on the end of its address. It's big and landscape, a win waits for you to press Next, and nothing is saved on the computer: no progress, no animal cards, no login.
3. Away from the screen
A shape walk around the room: each child finds one circle, one square and one triangle and draws it.

- How many corners does this shape have?
- Is this one round, or pointy?
- Where have you seen a shape like this at home?
