Head to Toe, Tassie Devil
Naming the parts of your body: hear it, then find it on you · ages 3-5
1. Warm-up, 5 minutes
Sing "Head, shoulders, knees and toes" slowly, then faster.
2. The game, on the projector
The class touches the part on themselves first, then a helper taps it on the screen.
Projector mode is the game with ?projector on the end of its address. It's big and landscape, a win waits for you to press Next, and nothing is saved on the computer: no progress, no animal cards, no login.
3. Away from the screen
Simon says, body parts: add the harder words (elbow, chin, shoulder) as the class gets it.
Questions to ask
- Can you show me that part on you?
- What does that part help you do?
- How many of those do you have?
