Talk-about cards: Butterfly's Weather

A question a day for a week, to go with Butterfly's Weather. For the car, the walk to school or the dinner table: no screen needed. There's no right answer; your child's answer is the start of a chat.

Cards for every game

One A4 page: cut along the dashed lines and keep the week's cards in the car or by the table.

Things to say or ask

  • What's the weather like outside right now?
  • What would you wear today?
  • Is it windy? Let's look at the trees.

Taking turns on one device: One player looks out the window and says the weather; the other taps the picture. Swap.
