Learning games that work offline, in the car or on a plane

Little Roos works with no signal once you've saved it. Open Save for the car on wi-fi, tick the games, animal cards and tours you want, and they stay on your phone or tablet until you remove them. Nothing is sent anywhere.

Key facts

  • The games and animal cards together are about 47 MB; each 3D tour is 10 to 14 MB. (Save for the car)
  • Games your child has already opened are kept for offline play anyway.
  • On an iPhone or iPad, add Little Roos to your Home Screen first: Safari clears saved websites that haven't been opened for a few weeks. (Save for the car)

Before you go

  1. On wi-fi, open Save for the car.
  2. Tick what you want: the games and animal cards, and any of the 3D tours.
  3. Press Save, and wait for it to finish.
  4. On an iPhone or iPad, add Little Roos to your Home Screen (Share, then Add to Home Screen) and open it from there.

On the way

Open Little Roos as usual. Everything you saved works with no signal, including Ruby Roo's voice. When a saved piece changes, Save for the car says "Update" beside it next time you're on wi-fi.
