The Heave-Ho Club

Name: ______________________

For the grown-up: Read the words in the box together, then write each muscle's name by its number (or say them, and you write). Next, draw a line from each muscle to its pull partner: the one that pulls the other way. Last, make a muscle and draw it, then put a hand on your chest and count your heartbeats while a grown-up watches the clock for 15 seconds: once sitting still, and again after moving about: hopping, dancing, waving your arms, or any way you like to move. Everyone's heart and muscles are different: there's no right number.
